Blizzardplans to revamp how the end game works in its upcoming actionrole-playing game, Diablo III. Each difficulty level in DiabloIII features unique armor sets as well. Each class will get moreimpressive-looking armor pieces as the difficulty setting is bumped up,similar to the way armor tier sets in World of Warcraft work. Theartisans in the game, NPCs that set up shop in towns to provideservices to you, will also have unique upgrades and distinct visualappearances once you progress beyond the initial difficulty setting.

Asyou may know, skill points are gone in Diablo III, and instead skillsare customized through runes. When you flip the difficulty higher,youll also come across more powerful runes that amplify the runesbasic functionality. For instance, if something were to split aprojectile into five pieces, a rune from a higher difficulty will splitit into more. Youll also be able to find new sets of items unique tothe Inferno mode with distinct visual elements.
